This past weekend was the Ottawa Comiccon, and holly hell was it amazing! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it on the Friday or Saturday, but I attended the convention for all of Sunday and it was easily one of the greatest conventions I’ve been to.
There were so many people (according to the Ottawa Comiccon’s Facebook page there was a record 40,000 attendees at the convention this year), but it wasn’t so crowded that you felt deprived of personal space or couldn’t enjoy the booths. The panels were fun (I lucked out and got amazing seats at the Flash Q&A), and the workshops were so engaging.
I’m beyond honoured that I got to be a part of their convention and I’m thrilled at how well received “Bikinis, Brains, and Boogeymen” was.
It was such a blast and I hope to be back with a new workshop for them next year.
But I’ll make sure to keep my fingers crossed until then.
