NaNoWriMo Wrap-Up

What was I thinking deciding to participate in NaNoWriMo?

What. Was. I. Thinking?

The skin on the tips of my fingers is practically all gone, rubbed away from hours spent typing at my computer. My posture has suffered more than I want to admit… it was perfect in September, outstanding in October, and it’s reached Quasimodo levels of bad now in November. And maybe it’s just me, but I never thought I would hate the sound of someone typing on a keyboard as much as I currently do. But, on the upside, my novel is well underway.

On the downside, it’s nowhere near finished.

I hate to admit it, but I’m definitely not going to be succeeding in NaNoWriMo this year. Although I’ve made a huge dent in this book, it’s not going to be finished by the end of the month (mostly because I realize it needs to be longer than 50,000 words). I am happy to announce, however, that it should be finished come January of 2016. So that’s definitely exciting, right?

So, how did everyone else do with NaNoWriMo?
